Varsity Lacrosse has suffered some tough losses early in its season. On two different occasions, the Eagles had the lead late in the game but gave it up, losing both games by one goal. But on April 4 vs Georgetown Prep on Buchanan Field, Coach O’Neill’s team broke through with a huge victory over their Jesuit rival. Down by a goal with under 6 minutes left in the 4th, Jack Myers ’18 found the net to tie the game. Two minutes later, Kurt Bruun ’19 gave the Eagles the lead 5-4. Myers would seal the victory with a goal with just :22 left, to give Gonzaga the 6-4 win.
