@GZbaseball’s Productive Week Culminates With Annual Traditions

Each year Gonzaga Baseball gears up for the meat of their season with a trip to the Ripken Complex in South Carolina during Spring Break. Coming together off of the diamond is always just as important as working hard on it. The Eagles traveled on March 17 and on March 18 had a beach trip and attended mass at St. Andrews Church. The Eagles then played two games, defeating Mount St. Joe’s 10-6 on March 19 and falling to Potomac School 12-5 on March 20. Here are some great in game photos:

Over the next two days, the team split into Purple and White squads to play each other several times. The Eagles then participated in the Polar Bear Plunge and had their annual steak dinner.  Here is a picture of the team at Rioz Restaurant:baseball2017-team-dinner.JPG

Many thanks to the parents who made the trip to support the team!
