@GonzagaHoops Earns Milestones — Focused on Finishing Strong

Congratulations to head varsity basketball coach Steve Turner on his 300th win and congrats to Chris Lykes ’17 on scoring his 2,000th point! The Eagles defeated St. Mary’s Ryken on February 3, 74-64 to earn the milestone for Coach Turner.

Although the Eagles fell on the road to St. John’s on February 7, Chris Lykes ’17, Gonzaga’s second all-time leading scorer, eclipsed a major milestone on Tuesday night.

The Eagles are now  19-4 overall and 11-2 in the WCAC. Coach Turner and the Eagles are now focused on finishing the regular season strong.  Here is the remaining schedule:

Fri February 10 McNamara Away 7:30pm
Sun February 12 Good Counsel Home 3:30pm
Tues February 14 Paul VI Home 7:30pm
Thurs February 16 DeMatha Away 7:30pm
Fri February 17 Ireton Away 7:30pm

5 games in 7 days to close out the regular season, 3 on the road and 2 at home including PVI and DM — best of luck to Coach Turner and the boys!
