Tabash ’17 featured in Boys Life Magazine

Christian Tabash ’17 was featured in the most recent edition of Boys’ Life Magazine’s “Headliners Section”.  The article reads:

Scout Rank: Life Scout (Troop 976, Vienna)

Made Headlines: For winning his class in the 2016 world indoor rowing championships – using a treadmill-like rowing machine – and setting the U.S. record for 2,000 meters in the age 15-16 category.

The Scoop: Christian was a rower – on the water – in the varsity 8+ boat that won the Stotesbury Cup for the fifth consecutive time, tying the cup record.  His boat also won the 2015 Scholastic Rowing Association of America Regatta and reached the semifinals in the prestigious 2015 Henley Royal Regatta.  Christian also set the age 15-16 world records on the ergometer (rowing machine) in the 5,000-meter, 6,000 meter and 30-minute categories.
