@GonzagaGolf’s Zinsner ’17 Plays Well at US Jr Amateur

Teddy Zinsner ’17 and Pieter DeGroot ’19 qualified last month for the US Junior Amateur Golf Tournament which is being held this week at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, TN.  After 36 holes of stroke play Zinsner finished tied for 30th with a score of +3 and advanced to the round of 64 which begins match play from this point forward.  DeGroot missed the cut by 7 strokes and finished with a +14.

Zinsner won his first round of match play on Wednesday, July 20. He defeated Adrien Pendaries of France 3 and 1.  He advanced to the round of 32 on Thursday, but lost 6 and 5.
